Delia Welcomes New Library Manager

Hello Delia! I am very excited to work in your library and be mentored by your very own Leah Hunter. She is an inspiration to me, as my first year at Marigold Library System, was her 25th year. My name is Teresa Scott, a resident of Starland County who moved back to Morrin after 20 years of adventures in southern Alberta. I am a mom of 2 and as such I spent many days playing in the library. I didn’t realize how passionate about libraries I had become and what they have to offer until I was asked if I wanted to apply for the manager position in Morrin’s public library. I’ve been at it for two years now and my passion is as strong now as it was when I was first hired. Currently, in Morrin, we have programs such as Summer reading programs, art clubs for kids and adults, story time and a book club.
